Chief Petty Officer Henry Dewey Lyle Jr., U.S.N. (Ret.), 72, passed away Aug. 7, 1997, at Sentara Health Care.
Mr. Lyle was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Joplin, Mo., son of the late Henry Dewey Sr. and Ethel Fontella Lyle. He was retired from General Electric.
He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Erika Lyle; two grandsons, Kurtis F. Lyle and Alex E. Lyle, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Audrey Froelich of Walnut Creek, Calif.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today in Quantico National Cemetery with full military honors. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
