Jamie Luedtke, 9, lines up a shot over the net as her father, Tim,
waits on the tennis courts at the Golden Strand condominiums in Kill
Devil Hills on Tuesday. The Luedtkes use the courts as a practice
area while vacationing from Berwyn, Pa. ``There are too many
cockleburs in the sand, and they get stuck in the ball and your
feet, said Tim Luedtke. He explained that back home, Jamie is a star
right wing on the Tredyffrin/Easttown Nightmares.
