Roy Clifton Richardson of the 1700 block of Parrish St. died Aug. 11, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A retiree with 15 years service at Colonial Chevrolet, Norfolk, he was a native of Nash County, N.C., and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Richardson; four daughters, Joan House, Joyce Richardson, Geraldine Richardson of the Bronx, N.Y., and Daisy Bland of Virginia Beach; two sons, Herman Richardson and Roy M. Richardson of Chesapeake; 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many other surviving relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Fitchett Funeral Home Chapel, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
