Infant Jaida S.L. Mitchell-McCallister of the 1900 block of Genesee Way died Aug. 7, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Virginia Beach, she is survived by her parents, Tekeyya Mitchell and Jameson McCallister; maternal grandparents, Vanessa and Alfonso Mitchell of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Rena Scott of Alabama; great-grandfather, Charles Searles and stepgreat-grandmother, Kathleen Spicer, both of New York City; great-grandmother, Mary Searles of Pennsylvania; aunt, Tekenya Mitchell of Virginia Beach; and three uncles in Alabama; and a host of other relatives.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Roosevelt Memorial Park by Pastor Robert Mason. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
