MINNIE B. HOLLOWELL

Minnie Bunch Hollowell, 84, of Route 1 died Aug. 13, 1997, in Brian Care Nursing Center, Hertford.

Mrs. Hollowell was born in Chowan County. The daughter of the late Osia and Mrs. Sallie E. Bunch, she was a homemaker and a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Irvin Lee Hollowell.

Surviving are two daughters, Claire Eldridge of Hobbsville and Vicki Blackwell of Roper, N.C.; a son, Lee Hollowell of Hobbsville; five sisters, Ethel Riddick of Hertford, N.C., Eliza Chappell of Belvidere, Maxine Bunch of Edenton, Bernice Byrum of Chesapeake and Geraldine Bass of Merry Hill; brother, Garland Bunch of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Hobbsville Baptist Church by the Rev. Steve Loftis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, in charge. Friends may join the family at the residence. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
