JERMAINE L. FAISON

Jermaine Lamar ``Chic'' Faison, 25, of the 600 block of Geneva Ave., died Aug. 10, 1997, in Portsmouth.

A native of Norfolk, he was a forklift operator for two years at Empire Molding Co. He attended New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Portsmouth.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole S. Faison of Chesapeake; son, Anthony Jamar of Chesapeake; parents, Lorraine Donald of Chesapeake and Albert W. Faison Jr. of Norfolk; three brothers, Tony A. Stevenson of Fort Washington, Md., Alan L. Stevenson of Chesapeake and Albert W. Faison III of Seattle; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Faison of Norfolk; stepfather, Gaden Donald Jr., U.S. Army (ret.); an aunt; six uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Portsmouth, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at noon Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
