JACQUE M. MATHER

Jacque Genevieve Marie Mather, 93, of the 100 block of N. Budding Ave. died Aug. 11, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, she was the widow of Edwin Stuart Mather and a member of Thalia United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth Circle of Women of the Church. She was past president of the Thalia Garden Club; member of American Association of Retired Persons; Telephone Pioneers of America; Grand Island Order of the Eastern Star; and Grand Island, Nebraska Rebekah Lodge, I.O.O.F.

Survivors include a daughter, Byllee Jacque Fraser of Virginia Beach; two granddaughters, Lindsay L. Shepheard of Pungo and Dr. Stuart L. Shepheard of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Thalia United Methodist Church by the Rev. Marc Brown. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
