Daisy Isabel Burroughs, 85, of the 3100 block of Arizona Ave., died Aug. 12, 1997, in local hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles James Burroughs; three daughters, Elizabeth B. Wilson of Suffolk, Catherine J. Smith of Richmond, Ky., Frances B. Leonhardt of Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Charles J. Burroughs Jr. of Chesapeake, Allan A. Burroughs of Norfolk; two sisters, Sarah B. Richardson of Chesapeake, Rosa B. Richardson of South Mills, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Mason. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
