Ralph Stith Jr., 70, of the 25400 block of Drewry Road, died Aug. 12, 1997, at his home.
A native of Southampton County, he was the widower of Ethel Stith.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie B. Artis of Suffolk, Ruth A. Ames of Cheriton, Va., Jane Evans of Jarratt, Va.; three sons, Ralph Stith III of Drewryville, Va., Ernest M. Holloway of Chesapeake, Robert E. Holloway of Suffolk; three sisters, Bessie M. Holloway of Chesapeake, Mary H. Ricks of Cheriton, Frances Stith of Cheriton; a brother, Joe Willie Stith of Franklin; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, Drewryville, by the Rev. Raymond Pyant. Burial will be in St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery, Handsom. Engram Funeral Home, Courtland, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
