BETTY J. WEASE

Betty J. Wease, 76, of the 1000 block of Chester St., died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Wease was born in Peru, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mabel Catherine Crank Waters. She was the widow of William C. Wease and was also predeceased by two brothers, Bob Waters and Bill Waters, and a sister, Shirley J. Waters, all of Peru.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol L. Barrows of Peru; and her three sons, William Wease Jr. of Chesapeake, David W. Wease and Donald E. Wease, both of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, by the Rev. O.H. Burton. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
