Lena Mae Rogers, 76, of the 600 block of Ferry Road died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997.
A native of Haywood County, N.C., she was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, Clyde, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, DeWitt C. Rogers; daughter, Royce R. Pendergrass of Norfolk; son, Euzell N. Rogers of Suffolk; sister, Pauline Rogers of Haywood County; brother, Fred Medford of Haywood County; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
