MYRTLE I. FARLEY

Myrtle Irene ``Murmie'' Farley, 92, of Chickahominy Haven, Lanexa, and formerly of Norfolk, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, in her home.

``Murmie'' was born in West Virginia but had lived in Norfolk for more than 20 years before moving to Lanexa 25 years ago. She had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hi Farley.

She is survived by a son, Fred Farley; two grandchildren, Gene Farley and wife, Julia, and Jimmy Farley and wife, Woodlin, all of Chickahominy Haven; two sisters, Betty Voight of Norfolk and Corky Shockley of Chickahominy Haven; brother, Glenn Barrett of Seabring, Fla.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hap Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
