Elijah ``Jimmie'' Jones of the 4900 block of Rachel St. died Aug. 14, 1997.
A native of Princess Anne County, he was retired from Williams Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Emma H. Jones; daughter, Monique Brown of Virginia Beach; two sons, Derrick Perry and Willie Washington, both of Virginia Beach; a stepson; four grandchildren; two aunts, Essie Cherry and Nancy Simmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in St. Mark A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Vernon L. Ricks Sr. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
