Randolph ``Portlock'' Jackson of the 900 block of Walker Ave. died Aug. 10, 1997.
A native of Greenville, N.C., he was a roofer.
Survivors include his two daughters, Rita Shines and Tracy Shines, both of Norfolk; mother, Minnie Jackson of Norfolk; sister, Sarah R. Foggs of Norfolk; brother, Donald E. Jackson of Norfolk; seven grandchildren, Tynesha, Bradley, Brittney, Travarius, Ashley, Marquise, Quaran, all of Norfolk; a great-aunt; five aunts; an uncle; two nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Randolph Jackson.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in St. Mark United Church of Christ, Norfolk, by the Rev. Thomas Hart, pastor, and Elder Robert White. Burial will be in St. Luke AME Cemetery, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 907 Walker Ave., Norfolk, Monday at 1 p.m. for the funeral procession to the church. The body will be placed in the church Monday at 11 a.m. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
