Albert Lee Boone, 85, of Broda Court died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, in his residence. A native of Nash County, N.C., he was a machinist retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and a member of Collinswood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy S. Boone; four sons, Freddie and wife, Barbara Stevens, E. Ronald and wife, Anne Boone, Gerald and wife, Frances Boone, Charles and wife, Martha Boone; four sisters, Esther Oakley, Estelle Trexler, Lucille Green and Carolyn Willoughby; brother, Daniel Boone; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Jack Stallings and Pastor Bob Groves. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
