MILDRED I. MCMILLAN

Mildred I. McMillan, 70, of the 1100 block of Covel St. died Aug. 14, 1997.

A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a member of Full Gospel Deliverance.

Survivors include her husband, James McMillan Sr.; two daughters, Phyllis Sulaiman of Worcester, Mass., and Gertrude McMillan of Norfolk; son, James McMillan Jr. of Norfolk; sisters, Elizabeth Benn of Ivor, Va., Margaret McElroy of Norfolk and Nellie Wells of Denbigh, Va.; four brothers, Robert Drew of Philadelphia, Ollie Drew of Dendron, Va., Oscar Drew of Smithfield and Authur Drew of Smithfield; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a godchild, Charlene White of Virginia Beach; a devoted niece, Rosa Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Gertrude Drew; and her brother, Joe Drew Jr.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
