ALBERTA B. BUCK

Alberta Birt Buck of the 2300 block of Lens Avenue died Aug. 15, 1997, in her home.

A housewife, she was a native of Nash County, N.C., and is survived by her husband, George J. Buck; daughter, Beverly L. Buck of Norfolk; three sons, George and Bobby of Norfolk and Larry Buck of Philadelphia; parents, Tenie Braswell and Jonah Braswell; four sisters, Josephine Westry of North Carolina, Remona Harvey of California, Marva Stokes of Maryland and Yvonne Braswell of Norfolk; brother, Albert Braswell of Richmond; four grandchildren, Amanda, Precious, LaTrisha and Sabrina; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Second Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Rev. Blount. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hale Funeral Home is in charge. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
