Eleanor Kincaid Starke Jenkins, 84, died Aug. 15, 1997. Mrs. Jekins was a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Jenkins, formerly of Charlotte, N.C., was a volunteer at Rex Hospital, at White Memorial Presbyterian Church and a proof reader for the N.C. Legislature.
She was predeceased by both her husbands, Edward D. Starke and Edward Lee Jenkins; her parents, Archibald Douglas and Lucy Holladay Kincaid; and a brother, A.D. Kincaid Jr.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by a stepson, Edward Lee Jenkins Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter, Eleanor ``Douggie'' Starke Evans and a son-in-law, Richard P. Evans, of Suffolk; sisters-in-law, Sue Kincaid of Charlotte, N.C., and Corinne Starke of Virginia Beach; two nieces; three nephews and a stepgrandson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in White Memorial Church with the Rev. Art Ross officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27608. Brown-Wynne Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
