Joseph Edward Leary Sr., 44, of the 200 block of Ranchland Drive, died Aug. 16, 1997, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Leary, a retired machinist, was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Leary; a son, Joseph E. Leary Jr. of Chesapeake; his mother, Virginia Baker Leary; father, Cecil B. Leary Sr.; and sister, Betty M. Spruill, all of Moyock; and two brothers, Cecil B. Leary Jr. and Alter W. Leary, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today to receive friends. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
