FLORENCE E. BELECHAK

Florence Elaine Belechak, 66, died Aug. 17, 1997, at her home.

Born Feb. 10, 1931, in Braddock Hills, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bahleda. Mrs. Belechak was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church and the Lost Chord Club Auxiliary in Norfolk.

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, retired U.S. Navy Capt. Stephen C. Belechak; two sons, Stephen D. Belechak of San Antonio, Texas and John T. Belechak of Maryville, Tenn.; a grandson, Stephen C. Belechak Jr. of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Amelia Kajder of Monroeville, Pa., Helen Schneider of North Huntingdon, Pa., and Marie M. Mihaly of Homestead, Pa.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in St. Andrews United Methodist Church by the Rev. Danny J. Kesner. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
