Blanche Lucas Phillips, 93, died Aug. 18, 1997.
She was the widow of Capt. Herman W. Phillips Sr. and a member of Phillippi Church of Christ, Creswell, N.C. Mrs. Phillips was a native of Creswell.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen P. Foster of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Herman W. Phillips Jr., and her parents, Martha Snell Lucas and Leonard H. Lucas.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Robert F. Pittman III. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
