CORN FLAKES CAN TOP TWO DISHES FOR KIDS

THERE is one rule that always holds true in the kitchen. . . if you make it you have to eat it! If the chef doesn't eat the food, no one else will want to either.

Kids' Kitchen chefs will be cooking up a storm this week making a meal.

Breakfast or Brunch Casserole is one meal or plan to make a dinner with Oven Fried Chicken on the menu. Both recipes have corn-flake crumbs as an ingredient.

Making the crumbs is easy to do. Pour corn flakes in a plastic bag, seal the bag and use a rolling pin or a cup to roll over the cereal until it makes small crumbs.

If you make the dinner recipes, be sure to ask for help if you haven't used a microwave oven.

Potatoes are cooked in the microwave before the wedges are baked and margarine can be melted in the microwave as part of the corn flake topping on the chicken.

There are no new terms for cooktionary this week, so enjoy making and eating your meals!
