PREVIEW

HOW DO THE great gods of music love us? Let us count the ways. We can hear The Artist Formerly Known as Prince at the Hampton Coliseum on Tuesday, 311 and De La Soul rocking at the Amphitheater on Thursday, rock grandaddy Bob Dylan continuing his recuperation at the Amph tonight, folk-rock greatuncle James Taylor taking his turn on that stage on Saturday and 10,000 Maniacs going crazy with a free show on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on Sunday.

Pick and choose your tunes. Check the Preview music listings on Page E11 for details.
