ONE OF THE LEADING causes of depression among homeowners in this country is HG-TV. Really, it ought to be banned. All those people running around doing three years worth of decorating between commercial breaks is enough to make anyone reach for the Prozac.
``It's so easy!'' they chirp. ``Just drape these fabulous silk scarves at your window! Concoct 40 yards of muslin into inexpensive draperies! Make airy poufs to accent your view!''
