Robert E. ``Red'' Waff Jr., 57, of the 1100 block of Ohio St., died Aug. 22, 1997, in his residence.
A native of South Norfolk, he retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as an insulator. He was the son of the late Goldie Onley Waff and Robert E. Waff Sr.
He is survived by his fiancee, Barbara R. Utley of Chesapeake, and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Jack Sawyer. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
