Lenora Elliott Cheney died Aug. 24, 1997.
A native of Norfolk, she was retired from sales for Smith & Welton's Norfolk store. She attended Park View United Methodist Church and was the widow of Ira Cheney.
Survivors include one son, Arthur E. Cheney; one sister, Margaret E. Hudgins; a niece, Lillian Simonds; two nephews, Robert Williams and Burton Warren Williams Jr.; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Dan Spaugh. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
