ALEXANDRA W. DUBOIS

Alexandra W. (Sanndy) DuBois, 78, of Raintree Court, died Aug. 20, 1997, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. DuBois was born in Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y. She was the widow of John F. DuBois and a Catholic. She had worked for many years as a private secretary in New York City. Most recently she worked as a caregiver in the Virginia Beach area.

Mrs. DuBois is survived by a daughter, Marcia M. Gallagher, and her husband, John, of Chesapeake; three sons, Michael J. McGinnis and his wife, Pat, of Ocala, Fla., Steven L. McGinnis and his wife, Cathy, of Brandon, Fla., and Richard A. McGinnis and his wife, Cheryl, of Gainesville, Fla. She also leaves three granddaughters, eight grandsons and two great-grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 31 in the Virginia Beach Christian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Lee's Friends. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
