Richard E. Moldovan, 65, passed away Aug. 21, 1997, in Johnson City Veterans Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Moldovan was a salesman for Haynes Furniture for many years and had continued in that lifelong occupation prior to his death. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Mayo Moldovan; a brother, Michael Moldovan, and both parents, Anne and Mike Moldovan.
Survivors include a brother, George Moldovan of Sheffield, Penn.; two daughters, Karen Mitchum of Virginia Beach and Cheryl Mosier of Chesapeake; and a son, Richard S. Moldovan of Chesapeake; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn. on Aug. 22, 1997, where he was laid to rest. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
