Leon Bowser of the 2400 block of Cutherell St. died Aug. 20, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.
A retired truck driver, he was a member of the New First Baptist Church Taylorsville and a Mason. He was the widower of Dorothy B. Bowser.
Survivors include his sister, Bessie Brown; two sisters-in-law, Cora King and Dorothy Bowser; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James Woods. The place of burial is Oaklawn Cemetery, Hampton. The family will assemble at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
