BEVERLY D. FUNDERBURK

Beverly D. Funderburk, 44, of Lexington Drive, died Aug. 25, 1997 at Maryview Hospital.

Born in Norfolk County, she was a member of the Rehoboth African Methodist Episcopal Church in Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Funderburk of Chesapeake; three daughters, Crystal L. Harrell, Shawnda Funderburk and Shavonne Funderburk, all of Portsmouth; two sons, Curtis Funderburk and Christopher Funderburk, both of Chesapeake; her mother, Elizabeth C. Sorrell of Chesapeake; five sisters; four brothers; six grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Rehoboth A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Willie L. White Sr. Burial will take place in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The family will be at the home of her son, Christopher Funderburk, 1012 Collinwood Ave., Chesapeake, and will assemble there for the procession to the church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
