Barbara Bristow Taylor, 59, of the 500 block of Harton Circle died Aug. 26, 1997, in Norfolk.

She was born in Norfolk and was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John M. Taylor Sr.; two sons, Charles Douglas Taylor Sr. of Chesapeake, John Marvin Taylor Jr. of Richmond; a brother, William T. Bristow of Richmond; five grandchildren, Charles Douglas Taylor Jr., Cameron Graeme Taylor, both of Chesapeake, Joseph R. Taylor, John Ryan Taylor, Jordan Ross Taylor, all of Richmond.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Bryan S. Irwin Sr. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
