LAWYERS NAMED TO DIRECTORY: Ross C. Reeves and Peter G. Zemanian, partners in the Creditors' Rights section of Willcox & Savage, have been listed in the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification's 1997 Directory. The ABBC, a nonprofit organization accredited by the American Bar Association, is the largest nationwide certifying organization for demonstrated excellence in business bankruptcy law.

BANK PROMOTES THREE: Joan M. Needham and Gerard C. Kent were promoted to vice president at First Coastal Bank. Needham is manager of the Lynnhaven branch and Kent is the manager of the Fairfield branch. Also, Sharon L. Cronin was promoted to assistant vice president. She is manager of the Pavilion Center branch.

NEWPORT NEWS

AIRPORT'S FLIGHT OPERATIONS INCREASE: The takeoffs and landings at Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport totaled 100,458 for the first seven months of 1997. This is up from last year, which was 93,651 for the first seven months of 1996. Airline passengers also increased 46 percent in July compared to July of last year.
