Beverly Elizabeth Hudgins, 61, of the 5400 block of West Norfolk Road, died Aug. 29, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She a native of Portsmouth and a member of Sweethaven Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Hudgins Jr.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Griffin of Portsmouth; three sons, Floyd E. Hudgins III and Robert A. Hudgins, both of Portsmouth, and Kenneth M. Hudgins of Gates County, N.C.; a sister, Irene May Verenburg of Portsmouth; two brothers, Milton Thomas Trower Jr. and John W. Trower, both of Portsmouth; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. I. Everett Hughes Jr. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
