SARA W. PEAKE

Sara Jane White Peake, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997, in her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Mary Downs Etheridge and Malachi David White. She was the widow of James R.Peake Jr.

She was a member of Larchmont United Methodist Church, a former member of the Board of Directors of St. Mary's Infant Home, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, and its Royster Circle, and a member of the Redwood Garden Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Pris M. Peake of Alexandria; a sister, Mary Sappington of Frederick, Md.; and three grandchildren, Jeffrey Peake, Emily Sheahan and Matthew Peake.

A memorial funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Larchmont United Methodist Church by Dr. Jerry Campbell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Locker Trust of Larchmont United Methodist Church. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
