Caroline Hervey Mason Hubbard, 91, formerly of Columbus Ave., died Sept. 1, 1997, in a Norfolk healthcare center.
She was a former librarian at Ruffner Junior High School and later retired after many years as bookkeeper for the medical office of Dr. Walter B. Martin. She was born in Henderson, N.C., and was the widow of Hugh Austin Hubbard.
Mrs. Hubbard was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had attended Harrisonburg State Teachers College.
Survivors include a sister, Ann M. Amiss of Athens, Ga., and several nieces and a nephew.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton, N.C., by Dr. J. Shepherd Russell. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church. Cox Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
