BEULAH LEE

Beulah Lee, 78, formerly of the 200 block of N. 4th St., died Aug. 31, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.

A native of Kelford, N.C., she had retired from Planter Peanut Co., Suffolk. She was a member of Tabernacle Christian United Church of Christ, Suffolk. She was the daughter of late Moses Lee and Fannie Lee.

Her survivors include a son, Clayton Lee of Ahoskie, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Reola Lee of Ahoskie; two sisters, Jennie Mae Lee of Brooklyn, Mable Lee of Portsmouth; two brothers, Arthur Lee of Brooklyn and Garvie Lee of Aulander, N.C.; sister-in-law, Josephine Lee of Aulander; a loving and devoted sister-in-law, Mae C. Brodie of Suffolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Tabernacle Christian Church of Christ, Suffolk, by the Rev. Carlton Upton Sr. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Mae C. Brodie, 408 Tradd St. Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
