RYAN S. CROUSE

Ryan Shane Crouse, 16, of the 4200 block of Raleigh Road, died Aug. 31, 1997.

Ryan, a native of Portsmouth, was a junior at Western Branch High School, and was active with the Plaza Roller Hockey Team and the Western Branch Recreational Basketball League.

He is survived by his parents, Janet and Al McCaskill of Chesapeake and John and JoAnne Crouse of Virginia Beach; a sister, Shelli M. Crouse of Savannah, Ga.; grandparents, Bill and Faye Welsch of Parkesburg, Pa., John and Nancy Crouse of Lancaster, Pa., Billy and Gladys Robinson of Newport News, and Joe and Imogene Phelps of Virginia Beach; a great-grandmother, Hattie Fleming of Newport News; three stepsisters, Cynthia Hutchins, Deborah Marcus and DeAnna Morton; and two stepbrothers, Kevin McCaskill and Joe Morton.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Revs. Dale E. Gillis and Dorothy O'Quinn. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of choice. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
