Edward V. Evans, 76, of the 800 block of Woodshire Court, died Sept. 1, 1997.
Born in South Norfolk, he was a machinist with Radva Corp.
Survivors include two sisters, Mildred Sheppard of Newport News and Margie Abrams of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Milton L. Evans of Chesapeake. He is predeceased by his parents, Susan Waterfield Evans and Alfred Evans.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Robert Harrell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
