Durward Thomas Teachey, 62, died Monday, Sept. 1, 1997, in Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Wallace Teachey of the home; three daughters, Terri Teachey Kovalik of Chesapeake, Dee Teachey Ruble of Beaufort, N.C., and Debra Ann Teachey of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a sister, Ruby Oliver of Beatyville, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas and Annie Smith Teachey.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Johnson-Gaskins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Onslow Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
