BENJAMIN HUDGINS

Benjamin ``Bennie'' Hudgins of the 900 block of Elkin St., died Sept. 1, 1997, in his home.

Born in Norfolk, he was the proprietor of the Chesapeake Bay Crab House for 32 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Tinera B. Fobbs of Columbia, Md.; a son, Benjamin Jamin Hudgins of Virginia Beach; a sister, Bertha Johnson of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Brandy Hudgins, Trei Hudgins and Jordan Hudgins, all of Virginia Beach, and Samantha E. Fobbs, Carine C. Fobbs and Archibald J. Fobbs III, all of Columbia, Md.; one daughter-in-law, Angela Hudgins of Virginia Beach; and one son-in-law, Archibald J. Fobbs Jr. of Columbia, Md.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Pastor Leroy Ricks. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Graves Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at the residence for a procession to the church.
