Charles Edward Perry Sr., 76, of the 600 block of Leonard Ave., died Aug. 30, 1997.
Born in Norfolk, he had retired after 10 years with the Ford Plant and was a member of St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Norfolk. He was predeceased by his former wife, Othelia Bond Perry.
Survivors include a son, Charles Edward Perry Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary P. Vance of Chesapeake and Ella M. Whitmore of Norfolk; nieces, Elaine Little of Norfolk, Sharon Hill of Virginia Beach, and Denise Ellison of Washington; and nephew, Michael Snead of Detroit, Mich.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jim Smith. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
