SEBASTIAN M. GENOVESE

Sebastian Michael Genovese, 77, passed away Sept. 1, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was the widower of Katherine Genovese and a native of New York City. He was retired from the postal service and a decorated World War II veteran. He was a member of the Sons of Italy.

Survivors include his four children, Michael F. Genovese of Virginia Beach, Karen Daly of Natick, Mass., Elaine Vail of Carmel, N.Y., and Ronald Genovese of Doylestown, Pa.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A wake will be held Thursday afternoon at Cargain Barber Funeral Home in Carmel, N.Y. The funeral mass will be held at St. John's the Avangelist at 10 a.m. in Mahopac, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
