ELIZABETH A. NYE

Elizabeth Anne Nye, 64, died Tuesday Sept. 2, 1997, in Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox.

She was a native of Cape Charles, Va., and the daughter of the late S.T. Nye and the late Mariana Latham Nye. She was a retired school teacher of Cape Charles and Northampton Public Schools, a graduate of Cape Charles High School, Mary Washington College, and received her master's degree from Old Dominion University.

Survivors include three sisters, Harriette N. DeHaven and her husband, Philip, of Virginia Beach, Patricia N. Caplinger and her husband, Curtis, of Mechanicsville, Va., Nancy N. Hylton of Alexandria, Va.; 10 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mariana N. Treese.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cape Charles Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Cooper. Family will join friends at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
