NEWPORT NEWS

DUNCAN AND KOSER JOIN BTG, DELTA RESEARCH DIVISION: William H. Duncan was named a project planner and Michael R. Koser was named a senior civil engineer for BTG, Delta Research Division. Duncan was a planner II for the city of Charlottesville and was a Geographic Information Systems specialist for Prince William County. Koser worked for several national/international engineering firms including 18 years with Black & Veatch in Kansas City, Mo., and Washington, D.C. BTG, Delta is a multi-disciplined architectural, engineering and planning firm.

CHESAPEAKE

KELLY SERVICES RELOCATES: Kelly Services has moved from Norfolk to 825 Greenbrier Circle, Suite 212. David Maxwell, manager of the Kelly Services Tidewater Group, said their office clerical business had grown rapidly and it was necessary for Kelly to relocate.

NORFOLK

SHANK RECEIVES AWARD: Wayne E. Shank, deputy executive director at Norfolk International Airport, received the Virginia Department of Aviation's Airport Manager of the Year Award. Shank, who began his career with Norfolk International as airport operations supervisor in 1971, was recognized for his achievements in providing leadership throughout his tenure.

SUFFOLK

BANK HOLDING COMPANY TO PAY DIVIDEND: James River Bankshares Inc., the Suffolk-based parent of Bank of Suffolk, Bank of Isle of Wight and other community banks, declared a quarterly dividend of 14 cents a share to be paid Sept. 22 to shareholders of record Sept. 10.

VIRGINIA BEACH

MURPHY AND WOODS JOIN REGENT'S LAW SCHOOL: James E. Murphy was named associate dean of administration for Regent University School of Law. He was vice president of administration in the Virginia Beach office of the American Center for Law and Justice. Rebekah Starr Woods was named director of career services. She is a 1994 graduate of Regent University School of Law. Since law school, she has been practicing poverty law while concentrating in family law and domestic violence at the Peninsula Legal Aid Center in Hampton.

VIRGINIA

BARCLAY & SONS TO BE SOLD: Twenty Virginia jewelry stores will be sold in a restructuring by parent company Reliable Stores of Columbia, Md., which will focus on its furniture business. It's seeking buyers for four Barclay & Sons Jewelers, nine Henebry's Jewelers, six Morton's and the Barnett's Superstore in Fredericksburg. Fifteen stores will close. The other five will remain open. Barclay & Sons stores are in Chesapeake Square, Chesapeake, Hampton and Newport News. Henebry's stores are in Christiansburg, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Manassas, Martinsville, Roanoke, Staunton and Winchester. Morton's are in Colonial Heights, Glen Allen and Richmond. CORRECTION The Woods art collection is in the Lois E. Woods Museum at Norfolk State University. An article Saturday gave the wrong location. ILLUSTRATION: Duncan
