NORFOLK - Lindsay Nohl and Ann Cook each scored twice and William and Mary outshot Old Dominion 19-7 in the Tribe's 7-1 win Monday at the Old Dominion Soccer complex in the opening game for both teams.
Brooke McKinney, Missy Wycinsky and Stacey Jerolaman also netted goals for the Tribe, ranked 11th in the country. After taking a 3-1 halftime lead, William and Mary scored three goals in just under five minutes in the second half to put the game out of reach.

Old Dominion basketball coach Jeff Capel has hired James Johnson as a part-time assistant coach.
The job came open when Milan Brown accepted a full-time assistant's position at Mt. St. Mary's College.
Johnson, 26, was an assistant at Hargrave Military Academy. Before that he was an assistant at Longwood College and Ferrum College. He played at Ferrum and was named the team's most valuable player as a senior in 1993.
Johnson is a native of Powhatan, Va.
