Ralph E. ``Happy'' Hall, 70, died Sept. 2, 1997.

Mr. Hall was born in Saltville, Va., and resided in Virginia Beach since 1951. He was a retired real estate salesman and builder. He was a member of Faith Temple Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Louise Hayden Hall; a daughter, Barbara H. Maggi and her husband, Donald of Virginia Beach; a son, Harry V. Hall and his wife, Mary Jo of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Daniel Maggie, Matthew Maggie, Rachael Hall and Catherine Hall of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Janette Hicks of Chesapeake, Evelyn Walls Herndon of Saltville, Va.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Rosewood Memorial Park, Witchduck Road, by the Rev. W.G. Beagle. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
