HARRY E. HUNNICUTT

Harry Edward Hunnicutt, 83, of the 1100 block of Winburne Lane, died Sept. 2, 1997.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he served in World War II and the Korean War. He went on to retire as an upholsterer after 30 years of civil service at the Naval Air Station, Norfolk. Mr. Hunnicutt was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Virginia M. Hunnicutt of Norfolk; two daughters, Vicki C. Jones of Chesapeake and her fiance, David C. McBirney, and Sandra H. McCrory and husband, Ken L. McCrory, of Virginia Beach; and a granddaughter, Megan L. McCrory and grandson, Matthew S. McCrory, both of Virginia Beach.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
