Eva Adams Lucas, 39, of the 3300 block of Cricket Hollow Lane, died Sept. 3, 1997, in her residence. She was born in Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, John Lucas; mother, Hilda VanHorn Adams of Portsmouth; a daughter, Ciara Morgan Lucas of Chesapeake; a sister, Patty; a brother, Mike; and a host of loving and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Goodwin D. Adams, and brother, the Rev. Victor Irvin Hunter Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
