AIR SHOW SATURDAY AT LANGLEY

The Big Beautiful Doll, a World War II P-51 Mustang built in 1945,

above, makes a turn during a promotional flight over Langley Air

Force Base in Hampton Thursday afternoon. The owner and pilot, Ed

Shipley, also will fly the Mustang Saturday during Langley's

Community Appreciation Day air show. At left, Shipley of

Philadelphia gives instructions to the Air Force ground crew prior

to the flight in the P-51. More than 50 aircraft ranging from the

B-2 Stealth bomber to the P-38 Lightning will be on display at the

free air show. Gates will open at 9a.m.
