CLARENCE L. WILLIAMS

Clarence L. Williams of the 1200 block of Lead St. died Sept. 1, 1997.

He was born in Norfolk on Feb. 4, 1942, and was a longshoreman of the ILA.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy and Denise Little, both of Norfolk; a son, Dwight Little of Burlington, N.J.; a brother, Johnnie Williams of Norfolk; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a special friend, Bessie Little of Norfolk; four stepsons, John Pettaway, Albert Little, Dennis Little and Ricky Little, all of Norfolk; two stepdaughters, Margaret Pettaway and Doris Little, both of Norfolk; a daughter-in-law, Sheri Little of Burlington, N.J.; a brother-in-law, Joseph Todd; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in New Hope United Church of Christ, 145 Liberty St., Norfolk, by the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 1224 Lead St., Apt. B, Norfolk, at noon Monday for the procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
